The invention relates to a device for taking a soft biological sample and a method for the implementation thereof. The device comprises a hollow cylindrical body (10) with two openings (10A,10B), one at each end, wherein a piston (12) with a rod (14) is inserted via a first end and the piston and rod unit can be displaced back and forth inside the hollow cylindrical body (10).
