<p>The present invention relates to compositions and methods for intracellular protein delivery. The compositions include a protein operatively associated with a cationic lipid in such a way as to facilitate intracellular delivery of the protein by the cationic lipid, such as by associating directly with a cationic lipid, encapsulating it in a cationic liposome, associating the protein with a lipoplex comprising cationic lipid and nucleic acid, or associating the protein with an anionic polymer that is in association with a cationic lipid. These compositions are useful in delivering antibodies to intracellular proteins to neutralize their activity, and to introduce therapeutically useful proteins, peptides or small molecules.</p> |
