<p>The invention relates to a tensor ring comprising a spring (2.1) which moves up or down when the screw (2.2) serving as an endless screw rotates to displace the riveted nut (2.3) which also serves to lock the spring. Two dampers (2.4 and 2.5) are fixed on the tip of the screw and the base of the spring so that the mouthpiece and the reed of wind instruments pertaining to the family of the clarinets and saxophones can be clamped between both elements by touching only the dampers to avoid transmitting vibration to the assembly, reduce the contact surface and enable utilization of the same assembly in any other instrument. Possible changes in the form and material of the spring (2.1) and the dampers (2.4 and 2.5) have been provided for so that tensioning, the position and the contact surface with the reed and the mouthpiece can be changed.</p> |
