Guerbet alcohols (I), obtained by condensing: a mixture (M1) of oxo-nonanol (II), oxo-decanol (III) and oxo-undecanol (IV), a mixture (M2) of (II) and (IV), or (III) in known manner, are claimed. An Independent claim is also included for the production of (I) from (M1) (II), (III) and (IV), (M2) (II) and (IV) or (III).
