Use of surplus sludge from oxidative sewage sludge reduction, for growing micro algae, is new. The nutrients derived from sewage sludge oxidation are used for growing algae. The resulting gas production is introduced into the micro algae culture medium. The cleared water is introduced into environmental waters.
