FULL-SUSPENSION RECUMBENT BICYCLE

An improved recumbent bicycle (20) includes a frame member (26), a head member (54) rigidly attached to the frame member, and a front wheel (22) is coupled to the head member. A first member is connected to the frame member and a second member is pivotally connected to the first member with a rear wheel (24) rotatably coupled to the second member. A rear suspension system, including a shock absorber (118), can be provided between the frame member and the second member. The present invention is also related to a steering stem that allows adjustment of the position of handle bars for steering the bicycle. The present invention is also related to an improved quick release assembly (86) and mounting system for use with the bicycle.
