An optical fiber cable connector (2) capable of more surely aligning with each other the axes of optical fiber cables connected to each other, comprising first and second portions (4, 6) fixed to the terminal of the optical fiber cable, wherein the first and second portions (4, 6) can be fixed to each other, the first portion (4) contains at least one projection (36) on the side of connection with the second portion (6), the second portion (6) contains a groove (50) opposed to the projection (36) of the first portion (4) and, when the first and second portions (4, 6) are fixed to each other, the groove (50) receives the projection (36), whereby the axes of the optical fiber cables at both ends can be aligned surely with each other.
