<p>The present invention relates to abrasive articles having an abrasive coating comprised of a binder, abrasive particles having a Mohs' hardness of 7 or greater and non-abrasive particles having a Mohs' hardness less than about 6, wherein the non-abrasive particles have a particle size that is greater than the particle size of the abrasive particles. The abrasive slurries that are used to make the abrasive coating of the present invention may be used in both coated, structured and nonwoven abrasive articles as well as in making composite particles. The invention also relates to methods of making coated and non-woven abrasive articles and methods of making composite particles.</p> |
