The butterfly valve for charge reduction has a valve casing (1) with an external actuator which operates a movable obturator (4) in the flow passage (3). The flow passage on each side of the obturator is formed by a skirt section (6) perpendicular to the axis of the obturator. The obturator can rotate. The skirt sections can be cylindrical, and can have the same diameter. |
