SUBSTANCE: method is realized at using special roll grooved passes and it comprises steps of rolling blank in subsidiary and universal stands in such a way that slope value of flanges in all roll grooved passes (except final pass) is constant and consists 25% relative to vertical axis. It provides possibility for uniform shaping of web and flanges of rolled piece. Vertical rollers are mounted in universal roll grooved passes, they have two working surfaces arranged symmetrically relative to horizontal axis of roller at different sides of it. One working surface of roller is used until achieving its allowable wear degree; then roller is turned by 180 degrees and its other surface is used. Such grooved pass provides stable holding of rolled piece in grooved pass, uniform shaping of flanges and lowered cut-in value in reference roll grooved passes.
