SUBSTANCE: water-jet propeller includes swivel nozzle and reversible damper with additional front wall; it is provided with port whose form and sizes correspond to nozzle exit section. Flat side walls of damper are provided with cuts; rear wall has section which is normal relative to nozzle axis and is flat within projection of port; part of damper between its walls is located beyond above-mentioned projection. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining optimal magnitudes of discharge velocities and direction of thrust in maneuvering of ship equipped with this water-jet propeller. 2 dwg
