agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: drier has at least one intermediate block and two outer blocks mounted so as to form horizontal row of blocks. Blocks and their members may be rigidly fixed one relative to the other. Each block has set of related members. Intermediate block has central support, carcass-type frame, annular drying chamber drive, and housing with airduct. Carcass-type frame carries feeder, discharge device with charging and discharge members, grain layer cutoff device and independent drive, as well as heat-exchanger and combustion chamber. Fan and related electric engine may be positioned in central support fixed adjacent to intermediate block. Annular drying chamber which embraces central support is mounted for movement over support outer surface. Drying chamber bottom is provided with discharge zone and guard positioned above bottom. Each of outer blocks has base defined by power beam carrying equally spaced rollers for supporting related section of drying chamber. Drier may be used for drying various agricultural materials, such as grain, different kinds of seeds, including grass and leguminous seeds. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and wider range of materials which may be dried in rotary-drum drier. 10 cl, 5 dwg
