SUBSTANCE: press includes slide mounted in guides of press frame and having nut secured to it and coupled with screw mounted with possibility of rotation in frame supports; driven flywheel joined by means of transmission with main electric motor; drive coupling connecting flywheel with screw and having driven and driving pressure discs and return-stroke electric motor. Press also includes reduction gear mounted in flywheel. Driving shaft of reduction gear is joined with screw; its driven shaft is joined with shaft of return-stroke electric motor; the last is mounted on fly-wheel. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption, simplified lowered-cost design of press, enhanced conditions of press operation. 4 dwg
