<p>An air-bag (50) is formed by three layers of fabric (51, 52, 61). Two of these layers (51, 52) are interconnected to define a first set of chambers (53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58). The third layer of fabric (61) is connected to one of the other two layers (52) to define a second set of chambers (62, 63) which are offset from adjacent chambers in the first set of chambers (54, 55, 56). Apertures (59, 60) are provided in the layer (52) between the chamber sets to provide means for inflating the second set of chambers.</p> |
