drying technique, mainly drying of sunflower seeds in shaft grain dryers. SUBSTANCE: air distributor of shaft grain drier includes drying agent supply and discharge boxes arranged in staggered order; each box is provided with vertical partition fitted at top; partition reaches edge of lower shear of box located above; boxes have varying cross sections; discharge boxes are structurally identical to supply boxes and turned relative to them through 180 deg.; cross-section area of inlet hole of supply box and outlet hole of discharge box is related to area of blind end as 3:1. EFFECT: simplified construction of air distributor; reduced air velocity at discharge box outlet due to increased cross section; reduced entrainment of seeds from drier. 2 dwg
