The invention relates to a bone-substitute material, comprising a soft matrix, living cells and a curing matrix. The invention also relates to methods for producing a bone-substitute material of this type and to the use of non-ceramic hydroxyapatite cement for producing a bone-substitute material containing cells. Said bone-substitute material can be injected in a minimally-invasive manner into a bone-defect, using an injection device which is appropriate to the invention.
