Bundles of optical fibres is laid in the assembly (1) for connecting several optical modules (2) for signal transmission. An optical fibre distribution panel (4) for one or more bundles is mounted on the assembly and can be pivoted relative to the modules. The distribution panel includes separating and combining units (5,6) for separating and deflecting fibres in the direction of the optical modules. A mounting plate (11) is releasably provided perpendicular to an assembly board (7) on which the modules are mounted.
