PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the frequency of maintenance of an apparatus in industrially producing high performance polybenzazole molded articles and to inhibit contamination of a phosphoric acid solvent by metallic ions. SOLUTION: The method of producing molded products from a polyphosphoric acid solution uses production equipment in which at least the portion to be brought into contact with a dope in an apparatus for stirring and uniformly dispersing the dope and/or in a pumping device for transferring the uniformly dispersed dope and, in addition, a filter medium are constituted of a highly corrosion-resistant material.
