PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both new toilet sand for a pet having more effective deodorizing effects than toilet sand for pet which has been used, consequently not making persons around the pet unpleasant by an offensive odor and readily treating excretion without worrying about the offensive odor in the treatment of excretion and an additive for the sand. SOLUTION: This toilet sand for a pet is obtained by mixing toilet sand for a pet which has been used with granite porphyry. Granite porphyry is in a grave-like, granular or powdery state.
