PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stile formed from two members of different materials and capable of being mounted and held in a manner corresponding to panels of a plurality of configurations. SOLUTION: A panel, such as a glass plate, for closing an opening in a building, is mounted in the stile. The stile 1 includes an opening 4 formed of a first metallic member 2 provided on the outside of the building and a second member 3 made of resin and provided on the inside of the building. The opening 4 makes it possible to mount and hold in place the panel 9 having a first configuration for closing at least the opening in the building, by providing a bead 7 or the like, or enables a different panel of another corfiguration to be alternatively mounted and held in place, by providing a holding member or the like. |
