<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means in a manufacturing method of a manganese base ferro-alloy in an electric furnace, with which an evaluating method of a raw material ore is made to match with the practical operation in the electric furnace, and thereby, the raw material ore is selected and blended, and further, an ore having no satisfaction to the above evaluating reference is reformed. SOLUTION: When the manganese base ferro-alloy is manufacturing by charging the raw material ore and a carbon-base reducing agent into the electric furnace, the ore having its electric conductivity, at 1300-1500 deg.C, higher than that of the carbon-base reducing agent, is selected as a suitable ore for charging into the electric furnace, and this ore is blended at >=70% to the total quantity of the charged raw material ore.</p> |
