<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of a vehicle control device equipped with a driving source control device to automatically stop and automatically start the driving source when the vehicle stops. SOLUTION: If the automatic stop condition of an engine is satisfied, a brake force holding command is supplied to a brake ECU. A parking brake 150 is actuated by the control of an electric motor 154 in a brake device. The parking brake 150 is actuated, and mechanical braking force is applied. Since a vehicle is kept in a stop condition by the mechanical braking force, reliability of this vehicle control device can be enhanced. In addition, since the condition is mechanically kept by a holding device 177, the mechanical braking force is applied even if operation of the electric motor 154 is stopped, and energy consumption under the stop condition can be reduced.</p> |
