PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method of processing in order to impart the functionality to a textile product. SOLUTION: A functional material according to the purpose, an adhesive and water or an alcohol, etc., are mixed and stirred in a prescribed ratio of amounts to prepare an aqueous solution readily impregnated into the textile product which is dipped in the aqueous solution. When sufficiently impregnating the textile product with the aqueous solution, the textile product is lightly squeezed and dried. Thereby, when four sides and the top surface surrounding a simple toilet, etc., are closed with the textile product having the functionality imparted thereto, malodor and floating fungi, etc., are adsorbed or decomposed, etc., when passing through the textile product by the functional material sticking to the fibers. As a result, free traffic to the outside can be intercepted.
