PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved mounting structure of a pressure sensor utilizing a magnetic striction element. SOLUTION: A retainer 24 for retaining a suspension rod 12 with respect to a casing 10 so as to be movable up/down is provided at a connection part between the rod 12 and the casing 10. A pressure sensor 1 is mounted in the retainer 24 so that a weight of a washing/spin-drying tub may be applied thereto through the rod 12. The retainer 24 has thereon a housing recess 39 corresponding to the contour of the sensor 1, and the sensor 1 is fixed to the retainer 24. A tip presser part 45 of the rod 12 is provided to apply the load of the washing/spin-drying tub to the sensor 1.
