PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washer which can prevent the damage of a feed water valve when a high water pressure is suddenly applied on a feed water pipe or in a cold season. SOLUTION: The dish washer comprises a water storage section 11, a wash tub 3 to store dishes L, M, N, feed water pipes 6a, 6b connected to a water pipe 10, a feed water means 5 to guide the water supplied from the feed water pipes 6a, 6b to the wash tub 3 by means of the feed water valve 4. An excess pressure escape valve 7 which opens to discharge the water in the feed water pipes 6a, 6b when the water pressure of the water supplied by the feed water pipes 6a, 6b increases more than the usual water pressure is provided in the upper stream side of the feed water valve 4 and a discharge hole 8 is provided facing the inside of the wash tub 3. The feed water pipe 6b is connected to the water pipe 10 by means of a feed water main cock 9 and the excess pressure escape valve 7 is detachably installed on the feed water pipe 6a below the feed water valve 4.
