PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipurpose board and a work bench used by mounting thereon saving a space by being folded in being unused, setting the surfaces of components used for various types of works to flat, and used as various purposes. SOLUTION: This multipurpose board comprises a board body 11, a storage part 13 provided in the board body 11, a multipurpose plate 20 folded in the storage part 3, and a cover plate 19 attached to the board body 11 so as to be opened/closed freely. The board body 11 is divided into a pair of divided bodies 11a and 11b and foldably constituted. The multipurpose plate 20 and the cover plate 19 are divided corresponding to the pair of divided bodies 11a and 11b, one divided body and the other divided body are provided with an engagement projecting thread 23 and an engagement recessed thread 24 respectively, and when the board body 11 is opened, the engagement projecting thread 23 and the engagement recessed thread 24 are engaged to each other so that the surfaces of the multipurpose plate 20 and the cover part 19 are set to flat.
