PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a microbial film deposited with specified species of microbes and having controlled deposited area, deposit form and the like by utilizing electrical properties and their differences of the microbes in depositing the microorganisms on a carrier. SOLUTION: This method is characterized by depositing a specified microbes a substrate by setting the substrate having electrodes capable of generating a nonuniform electric field into a liquid containing microbes applying AC voltage to the electrodes to generate a nonuniform electric field and making the dielectric constant of specified microbial cells larger than that of the medium.
