摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high elasticity Ni-Ti alloy wire with a wide range of strain, used for a guide wire for medical treatment. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the high elasticity Ni-Ti alloy wire with a wide range of strain used as a component element of a guide wire for medical treatment, mechanical straightening is applied under the conditions of torsional shear strain and temperature within the shaded region of Fig. 1 while applying >=18 kgf/mm2 tension to an Ni-Ti alloy wire just after cold working. By this method, dislocation density can be increased, and a guide wire for medical treatment, excellent in pushability, torque transmission characteristic, or the like, can be manufactured.
