PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machinery integrally equipped with a bypass flow passage. SOLUTION: This fluid machinery 1 comprises a pair of rotors 3, 5 accommodated in a housing 15 and meshed with each other, and a set of timing gears 26 fixed at one ends of the rotors 3, 5. The fluid machinery 1 is characterized by comprising: the bypass flow passage 35 formed on an outer wall 31b of a gear chamber 33 which accommodates the set of timing gears 26, and positioned near a portion where the gears are meshed with each other so that the bypass flow passage 35 communicates a suction port 15a and a discharge port 15b; and a valve unit 37 disposed in the middle portion of the bypass flow passage 35 to open and close the bypass flow passage 35 depending on operation states.
