摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection system of internal combustion engine using both a liquid phase injector and gas phase injector, in which the configuration remains simple and nevertheless it is possible to maintain high the quantitative preciseness in regulating the fuel injection from each injector. SOLUTION: The fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine is equipped with a liquid phase injector 21 to jet and supply the fuel in liquid phase from a fuel tank 22 to the engine 11 and a gas phase injector to jet and supply the fuel in gaseous phase to the engine 11. The fuel injection amounts by the injectors 21 and 28 are controlled quantitatively in compliance with the fuel amount required at the time. The temperature of the liquid phase injector 21 is presumed from the temperature of the cooling water for the engine 11 and the fuel temperature in the fuel passage leading from the fuel tank 22 to the liquid phase injector 21, and the amount of vapor generation in the fuel passage is calculated from the obtained presumptive value and the fuel pressure in the passage. On the basis of the calculations, the fuel injection amounts by the injectors 21 and 28 are regulated.
