PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device having a longitudinal braking force distributing device capable of improving stability of a vehicle at braking time by preventing the occurrence of a rear tip lock without reducing braking efficiency. SOLUTION: A brake operation detecting part 26 detects that a brake switch 11 is turned on by performing brake operation by a driver, and an EBD control judging part 29 changes an initial value Thx (STOPTM) of a threshold value Thx used to judge a start of EBD control so as to become small as elapsed time STOPTM becomes short after turning on the brake switch 11 arithmetically operated by an elapsed time operation part 27 according to this to easily start the EBD control as the elapsed time STOPTM becomes short.
