PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device being automatically operable through movement of a hook, being simple in structure and easy to fabricate, and ensuring removal of the hook regardless of the cross-sectional shape of a cargo lifting shaft. SOLUTION: The device includes a pair of rotating pieces 6 rotatably suspended from both sides of the crane hook 2, and a pair of bearing rollers 7 rotatably supported against the lower ends of the rotating pieces 6 to sandwich the hook 2 from both sides, the bearing rollers being positioned between the hook end and a portion opposite to the end, with a portion of the outer periphery of each bearing roller positioned above the hook end to function as a hook coming-off preventing portion.
