PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for acquiring a fluorescent image without producing a visually adverse effect even if a value with a large percentage of noise is included in the fluorescence intensity value of pixels obtained by imaging the fluorescence generated from an organism, etc., by the irradiation of excitation light. SOLUTION: In the fluorescent imaging apparatus, an image taking unit 300 extracts the fluorescence intensity of plural different wavelength regions from the fluorescence generated from a biological tissue 1 by the irradiation of excitation light Le to the biological tissue 1, and a discrimination operation unit 500 executes the operation based on the fluorescence intensity to obtain image data for displaying a fluorescent image of the biological tissue 1. Then, a judging unit 400 judges whether each pixel constituting the fluorescent image is suitable or unsuitable for operation. If the pixel is suitable for operation, the value of the pixel is obtained by the operation. If the pixel is unsuitable for operation, such a value as will not have a visually adverse effect when the fluorescent image is displayed as a visible image is allotted as the value of the pixel.
