PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for an engine of such a type as to make a pilot fuel injection prior to the main fuel injection, whereby it is practicable to sufficiently compensate influence of the pulsation in the common-rail pressure in association with the pilot fuel injection. SOLUTION: When a pilot fuel injection is to be made (S1), influence A of the pressure amplitude of the pulsated wave on the common rail pressure is calculated (S2), and the influence B of the phase of the pulsated wave is calculated (S3), and on the basis of the uncorrected main fuel injection time (S4), the modification factor C for the pressure change correcting amount is calculated (S5), and A, B, C are multiplied to determine the correction value D of common rail pressure (S6). The main fuel injection time is calculated (S8) on the basis of the corrected common rail pressure (S7) obtained by adding the value D to the common rail pressure, and on the basis of the obtained main fuel injection time, the fuel injection amount from an injector is controlled.
