PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicine composition for treating mammalian diabetic complication containing an aldose reductase inhibitor(ARI), its prodrug or a pharmacologically acceptable salt of the ARI or the prodrug and an antihypertensive agent, its prodrug or a pharmacological acceptable salt of the antihypertensive agent or the prodrug. SOLUTION: This medicine composition comprises fidaresat, epalrestat, minalrestat, SPR-210, zenarestat or zopolrestat as ARI or its prodrug or the pharmacologically acceptable salt of the ARI or the prodrug and a calcium channel blocking agent, A-II antagonist, diuretic, endopeptidase inhibitor,β- adrenergic blocking agent andα-adrenergic blocking agent as the antihypertensive agent.
