PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the whole weight while maintaining the strength of a line winding barrel part in a spool of a spinning reel. SOLUTION: This spool 4 of the spinning reel comprises a spool body 7 having a line winding barrel part 7a, a skirt part 7b in the shape of a large- diameter cylinder integrally molded with the rear end of the line winding barrel part 7a and an inner cylindrical member 7c attached to the inner peripheral side of the line winding barrel part 7a and made of a synthetic resin, a large- diameter front flange part 8 attached to the front end of the line winding barrel part 7a and a front flange fixing member 9 in order to fix the front flange part 8 on the spool body 7. The line winding barrel part 7a and the skirt part 7b are two-stage large and small cylindrical members obtained by integrally forming a thin sheet of an aluminum alloy according to press working and the inner cylindrical member 7c is a member made of the synthetic resin and attached to the inner peripheral side of the line winding barrel part 7a.
