<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply remove dioxin at a low cost from dioxin soot stuck on incineration ash, and collect it after decomposing and converting dioxin into harmless and useful oil and water. SOLUTION: Mixed gas 3 of ash and smoke having dioxin stuck thereon is passed through a particle-removing device 6 and a curtain of water 5, and separated into ash and water by a centrifugal separator 12. The ash is washed to elute oily dioxin stuck on the ash as emulsive oil and water, and then separated by a second centrifugal separator into dioxin-free ash and emulsive oil and water. The ash is washed, and separated into hydrous ash and water after washing. A mixed solution of emulsive oil and water, water after washing, and pH adjuster is electrolyzed by the first and the second electrolytic cells to decompose dioxin component into unit benzene nucleus substance, chlorine on the unit benzene nucleus substance is replaced with hydrogen to form harmless aromatic oil and gaseous chlorine. Hydroxylated metals formed in the second electrolytic cell having an aluminum anode precipitate in the lower layer, and the precipitates and the aromatic oil are collected.</p> |
