PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separating device for an image forming apparatus capable of preventing an image defect due to image contamination. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 1 is provided with a transfer device 35 for transferring a toner image developed on the surface of a photoreceptor 31 to a transferred surface of a sheet member in a designated transfer position, a fixing device 40 for fixing the toner image transferred to the sheet member 31 in a designated fixing position, transport guides 210, 212 provided on the back side of the transferred surface of the sheet member 31 in a transport route L extending from the vicinity of the transfer position to the vicinity of the fixing device 40, and a blowing means 200 for spraying an air current to the transferred surface side of the sheet member 31 on the transport route L extending from the vicinity of the transfer position to the vicinity of the fixing device. |
