PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation for external use for skin capable of highly effectively prevent or improve skin melanization due to pigmentation and safely usable without harming the skin. SOLUTION: This preparation is obtained by including pref. 0.001-20 wt.%, on a dry basis, of an extract obtained from Ixora kingstonii Hook. f., a plant belonging to the genus Ixora using pref. a polar solvent. |
