<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shooting game device capable of correctly detecting the position of a spot beam based on the image pickup signal of a video camera. SOLUTION: In this shooting game device, the photographed image of the video camera photographing a shooting area where the spot beam 26 for specifying a shot position is projected is scanned at least in one direction of the horizontal direction and vertical direction to make the position detection process of the spot beam 26 projected to the shooting area. A luminance pseudo average value at the present scanning position for identifying the local change of luminance is determined based on the luminance from previous n points to the present scanning position for each scanning line of the photographed image, the difference between the luminance at the present scanning position and the luminance pseudo average value is compared with a given reference value, and the position of the spot beam 26 is detected for the position detection process.</p> |
