PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposing and detoxifying chlorinated dioxins contained in soil contaminated with chlorinated dioxins discharged from an incineration device of waste and industrial waste without requiring a large equipment cost and operation cost. SOLUTION: The content of the chlorinated dioxins in the soil contaminated with the chlorinated dioxins is measured to select microorganisms most suitable for their decomposition. And then, when harmful bacteria normally living in the soil are present, a multiplication inhibition treatment for them is carried out, and the multiplication and enzyme production of the selected microorganisms are accelerated. As a result, the decomposition of the chlorinated dioxins can be effectively carried out by the microorganisms.
