PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous membrane that can jumpingly be shortened the time required for developing specimens, for example, blood and can be used as a test paper for determination of specific components in the specimens, for example, blood sugar or the like with markedly high measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: This objective anisotropic porous membrane is obtained through the wet membrane formation process of a membrane dope that includes the first water-insoluble polymer as the membrane component and the second water- soluble and extractable components in which the concentration of the first component polymer is in the range of 8-11 wt.%.
