METHOD FOR ORAL IMMUNIZATION USING VEGETABLE PRODUCT CONTAINING NON-INTESTINAL PATHOGENIC ANTIGEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining immune response to a non-enteral pathogenic antigen(NEPA) such as hepatitis B surface antigen by making an animal orally ingest the non-enteal pathogenic antigen in a vegetable material. SOLUTION: An animal which is made to have immune receptor against the NEPA by making the animal ingest a vegetable material containing the NEPA together with a proper adjuvant is made to take the vegetable material containing the NEPA to raise an immune response to the NEPA.
