<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device for which safety is enhanced. SOLUTION: The device includes a door 3 placed in the landing position of a platform 15 while being suspended from a guide rail 9 provided within a door pocket 5, catch sensing means 7 and 20 including a contact type sensor 20 provided on a side edge of the side of the door 3 outside the door pocket 5, drive means 11 and 13 provided within the door pocket 5 for opening and closing the door 3, a means 10 provided in the door pocket 5 for locking the door 3 in a closed state, and a door movement control means 7 provided within the door pocket 5 for controlling the opening and closing movement of the door 3. The lock means 10 is actuated a predetermined time after the door movement control means 7 has closed the door. Thus, even if an object or the like of size equal to or smaller than the dead zone of the contact type sensor is caught in the door 3, the door 3 can be opened before being locked, resulting in enhanced safety.</p> |
