PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat status display permitting a crew to conduct ticket inspection and monitoring without need for the crew entering a rolling stock. SOLUTION: An image pickup part 50-5 m and a ticket retaining part 60-6 m are disposed so as to face seats in the rolling stock. When the image pickup part 50-5 m determines that the ticket retaining part retains a ticket through image recognition, it outputs character data serving as ticket contents, otherwise, a visual image to a data discriminating part 104 through an input/output switch 103. The data discriminating part 104 outputs the visual data to an image recognition part 105, and the character data to a ticket content determining part 107. The image recognition part 105 determines a seat status through the visual image, and the ticket content determining part 107 determines the ticket contents through the character data. The respective determined result is outputted to a result monitor 109 through a result output part 108, so that the crew can determine the seat status and ticket contents by viewing the result monitor 109.
