PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concentrically inject coolant to a subject part of a workpiece from a tip of a tool in a machine tool provided with a diametrical cutting device. SOLUTION: This machine tool is provided with coolant communication holes 402, 406, 435 formed at rotation centers of cutting control shafts 401, 405, 430, a rotary joint 438 provided at one end of the cutting control shafts 401, 405, 430 to supply coolant from a coolant supply means to the coolant communication holes 402, 406, 435, a coolant supply part 208 provided at one end of a main shaft 201 to be engaged with a coolant receiving part 310 of a tool holder 300, and a coolant passage 412 formed in the main shaft 201 to connect the collant supply part 208 to the coolant communication holes 402, 406, 435 in the cutting control shafts 401, 405, 430 to be communicated with each other. Advance/retraction drive parts 420, 421 to move the cutting control shafts 401, 405, 430 to advance/retract are provided at middle positions of the cutting control shafts 401, 405, 430 where they will not interfere with the rotary joint 438.
