PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the propagation of various bacteria of the raw water storage part in a water cleaner. SOLUTION: A filter 14 is constituted of a pair of upper and lower lid members 19a, 19b having a plurality of annular projections 28a, an inner filter 20, an outer filter 21 and a communication passage 22 and provided with a filter medium sealing part 24 and a cavity part 25. The filter 14 is constituted so that the outer filter 21 and the inner filter 20 are almost concentrically housed and arranged between the lid members 19a, 19b according to the annular projections 28a and the filter medium sealing part 24 is filled with granular activated carbon and the opening parts of the inner and outer filters 20, 21 are hermetically closed by the lid members 19a, 19b. Communication holes 26 and communication projections 28b are formed on the lid members 19a, 19b at the places corresponding to the cavity 25 of the filter 14 and a hollow member 27 is inserted under pressure to demarcate and form a communication passage 22. The communication passage 22 functions as a new inflow route of raw water of a water purifier to increase the inflow and outflow quantity of a raw water storage part to prevent the propagation of various bacteria.
