PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a memory device such as ROM or the like in a game machine for forgery or dishonest alteration. SOLUTION: A storage discrimination mark natural to each individual game machine 10, a storage encoded discrimination mark obtained by encoding the storage discrimination mark with a second code key principally selected from a second code key table 35b, and a storing first code key principally selected from a first code key table 35a are stored in the storage memory means 30 of the game machine 10. The game machine 10 encodes the storage encoded discrimination mark with the storing first code key to form an inspection code data and transmits it to an inspection device 50 together with the storage discrimination mark. The inspection device 50 successively decodes the storage encoded discrimination mark with the inspection first decode key and inspection second decode key principally selected from a first decode key table 75a and second decode key table 75b, and collates the result with the received storage discrimination mark.
