PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lace knitting 10 capable of giving a thickness in a region, exhilarating a texture pattern and knitting in a thick yarn to the lace to have a profound texture by providing plural wale 1 formed in longitudinal direction by chain crocheted warp, continuously forming horizontal rows 2 in which plural loops in the plural wale 1 line abreast, in longitudinal direction, forming sinker loops between needle loops of the different wale 1, and forming a ground weave composed of a net work having mutually lined plural wale 1 capable of inserting pattern yarn. SOLUTION: This lace knitting comprises at least a part of the ground weave formed as an expanded textural part 15 knit in an expanded gauge rougher than the ground textural part 14. A texture pattern is formed by thickening a part of inserting yarns knit into the expanded texture part 15 than the standard inserting yarn mainly knit into the standard textural part 14.
