PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method for an open caisson base plate capable of easily installing a cage at an underwater accurate position while preventing the cage from floating during concrete placement. SOLUTION: In the working method for the open caisson base plate in this example, a cage 5 of the base plate 2 to be constructed is provided in a state where the working frame 3 arranged above the cage is jointed in one united body with the frame 3. Then, the cage 5 and the working frame 3 are placed in the open caisson 1. Next, the working frame 3 is fixed by anchor bolts 6... for the open caisson 1 to a state where the cage 5 is arranged to the forming position of the base plate 2. In this way, the cage 5 is fixed to a predetermined position of the open caisson 1 through the working frame 3. Thus, even though concrete is poured to the steel bar cage 5, the cage 5 can be suspended and supported to the accurate position and the upward floating of the cage 5 can be prevented.
